2nd Workshop on "Green horizons: advancing zero-emissions technologies in the maritime industry”"
We are delighted to invite you to participate in the Second Workshop on “Green Horizons: Advancing Zero-Emissions Technologies in the Maritime Industry”, organized by the National Research and Development Institute for Cryogenics and Isotopic Technologies Râmnicu Vâlcea, ICSI ENERGY Department. The event will take place on January 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in the CNHPC Hall, located at Strada Uzinei no. 4, Postal Code 240050, Râmnicu Vâlcea, România.
This workshop takes place within the framework of the project “Innovative Fuel Cell/Battery-Based Hybrid Zero-Emission Power System for Maritime Transport” (2024/392269) and aims to strengthen cooperation between Romanian and Norwegian institutions. At the same time, the project focuses on developing and implementing innovative solutions based on fuel cell technology for maritime applications, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and promoting more sustainable and energy-efficient navigation.
Experts in the field of green hydrogen and fuel cells will participate and share their experience and facilitate interactive discussions.
The agenda of the event includes:
1. Industry roadmap for zero-emission shipping
2. Intelligent energy performance monitoring solutions for fuel cell/battery-based hybrid power systems
3. Artificial intelligence for the control and monitoring of emission-free vessels: advances and trends
4. Hydrogen fuel cell powered propulsion systems for maritime applications
5. Comprehensive WTW analysis criteria and aspects of zero and near zero emissions technologies in the marine industry
Participation in this workshop is free of charge.
We are looking forward to seeing you and we are confident that your participation will significantly contribute to the success of this event.
